Wishing it were so does not make it so. Everyone in my family is Republican, they really excoriated me for voting for Obama in 2008 because of my hatred for McCain (he's done exactly one good thing in his life, and that's refusing to leave Hanoi without his comrades - since then he's been coasting on that one thing). My family and Republican friends are all pro-Trump. I'm going to vote for him in the primaries and general election. We don't adore him, but we are happy to see someone being blunt and to the point, and someone who actually believes we should have a border.
