And it was a pretty low bar. All I wanted to see was evidence that he has a close relationship with reality than he has demonstrated so far. I suspect he has spent too many decades surrounded by yes men and doesn't really know how to deal with people who won't unquestionably accept his version of reality. Not denying he said things when confronted with clear evidence that he did would be good start.
