View original postA little while back republicans decided they needed to make it easier for a candidate to win early and consolidate the party while the dems are still fighting it with their original primaries.they just didn't factor in Candidate like Trump.he didn't enjoy majority support even among his own party until well after it was clear he couldn't be stopped and way back then many republicans such as myself was telling the Trump supporters that they were endanger of nominating the only guy who could lose to Clinton.

He did enjoy the support of a large plurality in most primaries, though. Much as I hate to agree with the guy, his numbers were in fact pretty impressive considering how many opponents he had.
