Since Daesh has been advocating the use of motor vehicles as a weapon in terrorist attacks for some time now, shouldn't there be a response? Maybe we can require testing, registration and photo-ID licensing as a precondition to purchasing or renting a car or truck.?
Oh wait...
Reports are saying that the London attacker was British, so he would potentially be able to meet all those requirements.
However, disturbing that he was known to police - though we don't know it what capacity.

Better idea - make firearms licensing and registration as simple and default as for vehicles.
