Fox needs fresh blood. Tucker Carlson better represents many younger Republicans who are socially more liberal and just as economically conservative. The cultural wars are mostly over. And FOX needs people who get that and focus on what matters the most to their base.

I never trusted the old-time pundits like O'Reilly and Glenn Beck as far as their supposed conservative bona fides. It always seemed more like shtick to me than what they truly believed.
