I don't keep a list of how many movies I've stopped watching halfway through, but I'm pretty sure the number is a lot higher. And I'm sure I've sat out movies that I liked even less, in different circumstances. It wasn't that I particularly hated it - just that it didn't grab me, I was in a mood to watch something entertaining, and episode VII works a lot better for that purpose. For me, anyway - but I note Ghav ranked VII above VI as well, despite his comment.
But if it makes you happy I'll promise to get back to it sometime so I can properly judge.
