Since I'm now in the second half of my first century reading without glasses for an extended amount of time is difficult and hate reading glasses. My Kindle looks like paper and I can make the text larger our smaller depending on how my eyes are doing at that moment. I can just touch a word and have a dictionary definition our wikipedia article. If I forget my Kindle I can have my phone sync to where I was. When you compare all of that to "I like the smell of paper" I don't think it is even close.

For me it is about the words and ebooks are just a superior word delivery system. I am sure when the printing press was invented their were people who insisted on only hand written books.
Plenty of times I haven't had my Kindle on me for whatever reason and just read on my phone.
