Oddly, I hate April and September. Don't ask me to explain it. I've never liked those months.

So, did you end up having a nice birthday?


The actual day was very nice. Started out as a quiet day, then some news came out on TV that had us scrambling madly. Bad news, but it's still exciting, it feels like we're in the midst of current events. Just hope next time it's better news.

Coworkers got me delicious cupcakes with candles. I went out to dinner with a guy I've been seeing. Had a great time until almost the very end, when he said something sad that brought back my sad feelings, and that stayed with me for the rest of the night.

But the weekend that followed was fantastic. Slept in, ate delicious food at home, watched The Vampire Diaries and other TV with my sister, had a great time at a coworker's wedding.
