The issue is whether any vaccine that contains known toxins (other than the virus itself, of course) should be administered. To my mind, the answer is that if the disease that is to be prevented is worse than the toxin, one should definitely still take the vaccine.
However, I have yet to see evidence that H1N1 is worse than the seasonal flu. In fact, all evidence is that it is milder than the typical seasonal flu. Furthermore, I believe that I and my family already have been exposed to the H1N1 flu back in late February of this year - the symptoms we had are identical to the H1N1 and my flu vaccination didn't stop it because it wasn't in the "cocktail" of vaccinations for last flu season (I only got vaccinated because my wife was pregnant).

Like any flu of course the old/young rule is going to apply. Those most likely to die are the old and the young, which is the main reason I did not get a vaccine. I have had the flue before and I've never come close to dying.
Still, I just saw on the news last night that almost double the amount of people that typically die from the flu through the calendar year have already died with several more months to go. I think it was CNN but it might have been local news I saw that on. This one does seem to be a real SOB for those who are most likely to get it.
