Unless your in Texas, and then its automatically death for everything.

The idea of making it worse for a white man to beat up a black man is just silly. Both are crimes, and both should be punished. Treat the crimes like what they are, and punish the offenders. Educate the youth, and focus on eliminating these crimes a different way.

Edit: Also, all these laws really do is give people in Congress something they can roll out and say that they are doing their part in solving the hate crime problem.
