Sure, we should know what stance politicians have since that's what we judge them on.

But actors, lawyers, etc. Their political ideology isn't a part of their job so really shouldn't be in question, in the same way their religious beliefs shouldn't.


You made sense, but I disagree. I judge anybody, including actors and lawyers, on their political ideology and religious beliefs. For example, I have a hard time enjoying watching a show or film starring somebody I know is a $cientologist.
