Especially these two notions:
1) That you should have a talk therapist in addition to a psychiatrist. They are vastly different skill sets, and you likely need both.
2) Continuity (or what A talked about in terms of change and upheaval). You've had a lot of change and upheaval over the past few years, and absolutely no continuity of care. I think that's very important. My suggestion is that you call your former therapist that you felt good about/with and ask her for a referral/recommendation to somebody in your current area. Even if she doesn't personally know anyone she undoubtedly has a network of professional contacts she can use to find you someone, and she understands what you need.
