unless they could magically restore the lights, I really think a good-will coupon FOR your wasted time and following lack of food purchases is quite an appropriate response...
good will coupons are £5, £10 items you can't exactly get a months worth of food and stuff off it, its like being given a fartfull of flour and getting told to make bread out of it.
I mean...unless you're going to run into a produce bin and hurt yourself, their frozen foods are more fragile in the event of a power-outage than you
