My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago (waiting on results to get back currently after he went thru radiation treatment, and a double-blind test of some new medicine). I'm only 36, but now I have to get blood-tested and potentially, um, er, "probed" in a way that most people, male or female, don't like being probed.
I'm not trying to say that you women have a cake walk during those examinations (I gather it is rather an embarrassing position for you, and involves COLD implements in an intimitate -- but not the happy intimate -- way) but at least where you're being examined, it is made for some sort of um, probing. And it is much more flexible
