Re: The Great RAFO Survey LightsongTheBold Send a noteboard - 16/12/2009 12:21:04 AM
1. How often do you visit Read And Find Out?

A few times a day...
1.a) Is visit the wrong word, perhaps? Is the correct question "How long have you lived at Read And Find Out?"

Since the day of its birth.
2. Did you migrate here from the Homeland?

Of course, not that I've been active on either site.
2.a) If no, who introduced you to this glorious site?

3. Which Messageboards do you frequent?

I read the community, the OF and the WOT board everyday. But I rarely comment on anything
4. Did you take part in the inaugural Book Club on the Sci-Fi & Fantasy board?

Yes, I enjoyed it and hoped for more.

4.a) Do you plan to take part in January's Book Clubs?

Yes, I hope they are as fun as the last one.
4.b) Did you vote for the Book Club choices?

I did, I think i voted for the Feist book, and I'm not sure about the other one.
5. Have you read The Gathering Storm?

Not yet, I'm getting it for christmas so hopefully soon.
5.a) If you answered Yes to 5., have you joined discussions on the Wheel of Time Messageboard?

No, I don't want anything spoiled.
5.b) Would you enter a competition on the WoT Messageboard to win a free copy of The Gathering Storm?

I would probably enter, but I am planning on getting my own soon so...
6. What is your favourite television show?

I love LOST
6.a) What is your favourite film?

I'd say V for Vendetta.
6.b) Have you made any posts on the TV & Movies Messageboard?

I've made a few, not many I'm sort of a lurker.
7. Do you play any console games?

I own a PS2 and a Gamecube.
7.a) What is your favourite board game?

Balderdash, its hilarious fun.
7.b) What is your favourite card game?

I'd say maybe Pitch
7.c) Have you ever joined a discussion on the Games Messageboard?

I might have posted once or twice.
8. Have you ever played Dungeons & Dragons or another RPG?

Nope, I've played video RPGs but no real life RPGs
8.a) Go on, tell the truth. Have you?

Nope.
8.b) Have you joined any of the games on the RPG Messageboard?

Nah, I find the games are funner on Braingle.com so I don't need anymore.
8.c) Did you even know we had one of those?

Yes, I checked it out a few times.
9. What is your favourite Category on the Community Messageboard?

Sports is fun to talk about.
9.a) Would you join in with a ROscars event?

Sure, it sounds like fun.
9.b) Would you like me to explain what "ROscars" might be?

No, I think they'd be similar to the WOTscars.
9.c) Is RAFOscars a better name?

Definately not... maybe the Readies...
10. Do you know who the Team members are?

Some. But there is a handy link to show us if we forget.
10.a) Do you wish you could post on the Team Messageboard?

I'm not really interested.

10.b) Would you believe us if we told you it's really quite boring? (Truly.)

I believe everything you say, don't worry.
10.c) Why has our illustrious leader, Sir Benjamin Drinkalot, not put up information about himself on the Meet the Team page?

He's clearly too drunk to type.
11. Would you come along to a RAFO Gathering?

Probably not, I don't really know many of you.
12. Do you know how to change your colour scheme?

No, scandalous, but I've grown fond of the teal.
12.a) Did you know we had colour schemes?

I knew wotmania did, never knew they came here.
13. Do you know how to change the quote style so every paragraph is quoted separately?

yes, there is a nice little button in the top right.
13.a) Don't you think that's jolly useful for surveys?

Yes and anything else you have to respond to.
13.b) Don't change it now because if you do you'll lose all of your answers. ;)

14. What is your favourite Donate! message?

The one about the zombie invasion :D.
15. Have you submitted any Quote of the Moment suggestions?

Yup, quite a few.
16. Do you read instructions at the top of pages or do you just do what you went to that page to do?

Instructions are for women...
16.a) Have you read through the Bugs & Suggestions page?

Yes!
16.b) Have you posted any Bugs or Suggestions?

No :(
16.c) If so, did you check first whether it had already been posted?

Hah, never had to deal with this folly!
17. Do you keep an eye on the News sections on the Homepage?

Of course, I'd be lost without it, I might have to click individual MBs to find that information otherwise.
