but I think that if you took two people with the same "healthiness" of nutritive content in their diet, but one included meat and the other did not, you would not find a single difference in their over all health. Meat does not contain anything that is bad to have in your diet, the biggest problem is that it's easier to eat "too much meat" than "too many vegetables". And this is pretty much only because meat contains more fat than plant proteins.
In my opinion, yes, you can eat perfectly healthy (if you work at it!!) as a vegan...but if you're only doing it for "health", then you can get the same exact effect with small portions of meat instead of 50 types of beans in every meal. It's just easier.
