I think the fact that both had the same job is enough to justify picking the Reid case. Ferraro was criticized but Lott was forced to resign from the same position Reid holds right now.

I think the Clinton and Ferraro cases are better examples of how willing the left is to through people who supported them under the bus when needed then it is an example of double standards. But I do agree that it demonstrates the under handed way race card is played these days. What is upsetting liberals now is that the republicans have the audacity to play it themselves.
