I know how you feel (somewhat). In the 2006 NRL Grand Final qualifier, my team lead by 14 points (3 scoring plays) at half time, and lost by 17. Every god-damn finals series, people STILL talk about it, calling it one of the greatest finals ever. I'm inclined to disagree, of course

Oh, hell; I was born in Houston and was forced by a football hater to turn off The Comeback right after the pick that opened the second half, whined for a while and got back in time to watch it all go to hell....

The main problem with the Pats was that they got caught cheating the second week, more allegations from past coaches surfaced they'd been doing it since their first SB win, and their response wasn't "we're very sorry, it was wrong, it won't happen again" but "everyone does it, so what?" Then they ran the score up on everyone in pursuit of records for Brady and Moss, as well as a perfect season. Yeah, if you had to cheat to do it "perfect" is off the table. THAT'S why we were all so elated when NY won.
Honorbound and honored to be Bonded to Mahtaliel Sedai

Because of the chessgame; you put in defensive personnel based on who's in the huddle.

I really though Minnesota had the better team, but with all those fumbles it's hard to say that now.
