Just how I think about things then I think their body and substance is far more important. LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 25/01/2010 07:54:07 PM
I just would hate to see Scotch go the way of the Halter Horse for sheer pride

(FOOTNOTE: Most animals bred to be halter horses are supposed to be "ideally typed" for their breed. They're also typically entirely useless for ANYTHING other than saying "well my Quarter Horse is everything a Quarter Horse SHOULD be!!!". Besides useful. You must note, it's mostly only Americans who are this stupid as to breed horses only for this purpose )

But the Taiwanese brand doesn't meet the standards for Scotch. - 25/01/2010 05:54:43 PM 295 Views
I mean the standards of taste and quality - 25/01/2010 06:52:10 PM 288 Views

There's nothing snobby about protecting a brand which makes a lot of money for your country. - 25/01/2010 04:03:45 PM 432 Views
I didn't say that it was snobby to do that. - 25/01/2010 04:27:57 PM 323 Views
Re: I didn't say that it was snobby to do that. - 25/01/2010 04:51:43 PM 362 Views
You still get my point. - 25/01/2010 04:53:33 PM 262 Views
Why should they have to label it that? - 25/01/2010 04:59:13 PM 294 Views
Because Scotch indicates a type of Whisky, not ONLY its location. - 25/01/2010 05:09:09 PM 283 Views
There is, as far as I'm aware, nothing stopping them from doing that. - 25/01/2010 05:13:14 PM 291 Views
And see, there's a difference in my mind. - 25/01/2010 05:18:33 PM 290 Views
