RT probably has a point that a lot of people are objecting because they don't like the results, and I seriously doubt many of them had heard of the PPP before and were objecting for the reason I was. The results, credible or not, are probably in the right zone. I would say, as you mentioned, that people will tend to watch the channel they trust the most.

My point, just to clarify, is that even if the results are dead on, doesn't mean they should be treated as valid, anymore than if I predicted two inches of rain next Tuesday in London and that's exactly what it turned out to be. A polling group that uses flawed methodology, especially deliberately flawed methodology as seems indicated for the PPP in some prior recent polls, shouldn't be treated as reliable even if they pick the lotto numbers right two nights in a row. I haven't really been watching this thread much, so I don't know if RT's assessment is correct about people's objections, but that is the origin of my objections.
