It's hard to read political articles w/o seeing the posturing, but I do actually like this one. Regardless of why he's saying it, he's not wrong. I agree with you though that quite a bit of it is unrealistic, especially given the current political climate.


Of course it's unrealistic; he starts off that way so he can allow everyone else to get him to "compromise" down to something that is possible (and likely what he really wants anyway). It's like bartering. Any action in that direction would be a good thing, right?
