Well I've never dealt with this issue myself, but I seem to remember that Macharius had kitties and an allergic SO...maybe he can give you some advice.

I moved out.
Following the actual move, I laundered/vacuumed everything. I even took the rugs to a professional rug cleaner, to make sure all of the dander was removed.
In your case, I'd do all the cleaning others have said - every weekend for a month. Also, it would be an excellent idea to get an air filter. You could also get a fan or two and have them blow out the open windows (when it warms up a bit, obviously
) just to get the dander floating around in the air out. For safety's sake, have your boyfriend continue using anti-histamines for the next month or two while you continue the regular cleaning regimen.
