They don't have *all* the functionality MS Office has, but it depends on what you need exactly.

MS Excel is a bit more userfriendly than OpenOffice Calc, for instance, though you can mostly do the same things in the two as far as calculations go. Same with MS Powerpoint and OO Impress.

You need a hdmi connection not a tv tuner to use your tv as a monitor
