I've read the thread so far and pretty much all has been said. Nevertheless.

Do what makes you happy. You're a good mother Amy, anyone who hears you talk about your kids the way you do can see that. Your children are growing up into well-rounded beings.

Women...often have a habit of doing everything for everyone else and not things for ourselves. It's bred into us when we're young; we have to be nurturing and we have to compromise. We're taught to put the needs of others before our own because that's the only way we'll be loved. But Amy, you *deserve* to do this for *yourself*.

I can't tell you that everything is going to end up well. Because I honestly don't know. What I do know though is that, if it turns out to be a mistake, it's your mistake. And your own bad decisions always hurt a hell of a lot less than ones made for you or ones you're pressured into. And they always hurt less than regrets.
