I can't imagine what was going through the mother's mind when some big stranger came up and threatened her child. That seems like a great time to head straight for management or security or something like that and get the guy removed from the premises.

But to actually have him come up and assault your child... I have nightmares that provoke the kind of emotion that would bring out, and they don't end in a civil manner. I'm just glad he's being charged with a felony. I imagine "I'm in for beating a stranger's child in Walmart" would go over -great- in prison.
