I am amazed. Not that he was traded, but to a division rival? That almost never happens.
that he forced them to do it with Washington by basically ruling out all other teams. He said no thanks to Buffalo and told friends he would retire if traded to the Raiders. It sounds like maybe there was no one left except for who he agreed to go to, a division rival - obviously (to me) so he could compete against the Eagles.
It will be interesting to see what Washington can do with a real QB and some nice draft picks this year.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
