This seems off to me. At that height and weight I'd expect a size 10, maybe a 12 depending on the fit of the item in question.
I agree. I have a friend who is 5'3" and 140, and wears a size 6/8, depending on the brand. There is no way that 5'4" and 140 is a size 14.
Although since there's no standardization of sizing, I guess it's possible someone of that body type would be in a 14. I just wouldn't expect that to be the average size of what's in their closet.
