Is healthy food more expensive or just less convenient? random thoughts Send a noteboard - 04/09/2009 08:00:45 PM
There are a lot of healthy food that doesn't cost that much to eat. With smart shopping fresh produce isn't expensive. Wheat bread cost the same as white bread and even the fancy multi grain bread isn't that much more expensive.

I don't know your situation but from my experience many of the people who complain about tend to be people who eat a lot of convenient food. I can make a very healthy meal in my kitchen for what a meal at your average drive through would cost.

Even so it is true that it does cost a little more to eat healthy. Potatoes are cheaper then tomatoes but I think it is money well spent and if I had to make a choice there would be multiple things I would cut out of my life before I cut healthy food out.
