There is at least an attempt in New Vegas to structure a player's possibilities at least a little bit around their reputation and actions in the game. This will probably mostly be around what the different factions think of you... or even what you're wearing when you encounter different factions. Still, I like the idea that Reputation should make a difference this time around.
