Diablo III's lore and atmosphere draw me, but not the bajillion clicks required. Zalis Send a noteboard - 17/08/2011 04:07:40 AM
Seriously -- people who work on computers don't want to come home and click 3x as much in the evening. It's RSI-inducing. Guild Wars' interface was so much more convenient with its skill bar and WASD movement options. (though you could still click, too)

I'd like to be more into Torchlight, despite equal amounts of clicking, but its story and setting are completely uninteresting to me.

It's sad, because I LOVED Diablo 1 & 2. '90s Blizzard games are some of my fondest gaming memories. Let's not forget how amazing their handbooks used to be, either, with all of that original art from Samwise & Metzen. (and extra lore!) I don't miss those days, but I miss those gaming days, if you know what I mean.
The sword might be grateful to the forge fire, but never fond of it.

Agreed. Diablo (and Torchlight) is the very definition of a repetitive grindfest. - 17/08/2011 02:35:15 PM 413 Views
Which is just fine, for what they are. - 17/08/2011 05:26:10 PM 523 Views

Yeah, the TW series is pretty weak grand strategy. Paradox does it best. *NM* - 17/08/2011 09:29:28 PM 144 Views
