It seems you already know this, but put your perks into enchanting.  Get 100 in enchanting, buy some grand soul stones and start enchanting.
Craft 4 Items, pick 2 schools of spells you are often going to use such as Destruction and X.
-25% Armor
-25% Helm
-25% Ring
-25% Necklace.
Now your Destruction and One other Spell School are free and cost nothing for spell cost. You can also wear some boots and a shield (when you need defense) with some other enchantments.
