But my main complaint, that they damage my companions (and any other friendly NPCs that might be around) still stand. That makes them largely worthless whenever I'm saving Talos worshipers from Thalmor, etc. Or really in a lot of other situations, since Lydia is in the habit of charging at the enemy directly along my line of fire!
I'm so sad that spell damage doesn't scale in Skyrim
