If you're going to use a mod, you're "cheating" anyway. Skip the hassle of transferring stuff back and forth to the companion. Just press the tilde key (this guy: ~ ) to open the console, and type the following to increase your capacity by 100:

player.modav carryweight 100

Happy Skyrim-ing. :)

And I generally only use them to fix game breaking situations, like toggling clip mode if I get stuck, or if a character needed for a quest has died for whatever reason (this happened to me in New Vegas with Isaac).

You're right that the pack mule mod I suggested is very specific, and the same thing could be achieved with much less hassle by simply ditching the companion and bumping my carrying capacity up to 600. But like I said, that feels cheap, because the console command is pretty much limitless. Mods are limited by the extent of the mod, which is limited by the laziness of the modder, my laziness in searching for mods, and my laziness if I choose to take matters into my own hands and create the mod myself. Plus, having a donkey or mule to carry my stuff makes sense in a role-playing way too. After all, animals were used historically to carry things, so it would make perfect sense for them to exist and fulfill such a function in Skyrim.

True, there are those perks. But they apply to all fire spells, or all dual-cast spells, etc - 09/12/2011 09:23:10 PM 1043 Views

Can you enchant Light Armor to make it as effective as no-armor mage robes? *NM* - 09/12/2011 11:58:58 PM 553 Views
You can, I have done this. *NM* - 10/12/2011 12:02:37 AM 563 Views

Fireball splash damage doesn't hurt you. Walk up to a wall and blast it; no damage. *NM* - 10/12/2011 10:33:38 PM 540 Views
