I could either Control or Destroy the Reapers.
I'm not sure which I chose. I picked the Blue Light as I figured it was the Paragon choice. I think it was the Destroy option, but I'm not really sure.
The Reapers stopped attacking. The Catalyst kind of consumed Shepard. The Relays were all destroyed while the Normandy barely escaped through one. After crash landing, Joker, the Thorean, and Shepard's assistant exited the Normandy onto a paradise planet.
After the credits, a father told his son of the legend of 'The Shepard.' I'm assuming this is hundreds or thousands of years later on this paradise planet.
I enjoyed the ending. It was a little confusing, but extremely epic. I liked the ethical dilemma and I stood there for a few minutes trying to decide which to choose. They both seemed pretty horrible choices, but, as throughout the rest of the game, it was another hard choice that had to be made.
If I hadn't read online about the controversy, I would have walked away entirely content with the ending. As it is, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and will have to play it through again choosing Renegade choices this time.
On a side note: I don't think I realized the Paragon and Renegade choices had switched during my conversation with the Illusive Man so I'm not sure what choices I made. I thought they were Paragon, but maybe they were Renegade after all since I lived thru the conversation.

It is possible to reconcile the Quarians and Geth. They end up sharing Rannoch. *NM*

There is some good stuff out there, and brilliant if you are prepared to go old-school.

I think Morrowind and the 2 expansions and Oblivion were the some of the last PC games I played.
