Scary that in order to curb one practice - they are alienating a whole section ... Roonas Send a noteboard - 05/06/2012 08:30:15 AM
of their game buying populace.

It's one thing to try to cut down on after-original sale transactions ... but they only got my money once regardless - if tomorrow they turned around and made the game pay-to-play I would quit in a heartbeat.

I play for the story and the play-through on my own pace (as a means to an end to stay awake for night shifts on my off days) ... I have other games, and the second Blizz makes this into another WoW (don't even get me started on SCII with the 3 seperate campaigns so you'll need to buy two expansions BS) ... I will walk away. They've done all the can to make me walk ... but I just can't when they are one of the only game houses making graphically and plot-wise worthy games for playing on PC.

Rock meets hard place and Roon gets the Ro-Sham-Bo.

Sigh.

P.S. This is why people pirate software to setup their own servers ... I knew of it in WoW but never partook but draconian methods always inspire people to break free ... Blizz can't control everyone, even with their invasive virus-style spy-ware progs you download along with their game-files.
