Aside from IGN saying so. I havent seen the endings yet, but I do know that IGN is terribly unclever.
Well, the god-awfull starchild is explained in more detail and the future consequences of the choices together pretty much kill it. Unless you go notch further and say all of that too is hallucination. But if you go that route you can go on and on forever.
