I was expecting a game like Total War or Age of Empires or even Lord of the Realms... but it's nothing but political intrigue and council position filling and marriage arranging.


And Conquests and Succession wars and Crusades/Jihads and loads o'stuff! You just have to give it time, practically all paradox games have rather steep learning curve.
