PS3: 77 million.
360: 76 million.
I believe Microsoft has also officially pegged the 360 at 77.2 million as of April.
The nice thing, though, is that it doesn't matter what the actual numbers are. Whether it's 1 million or 5, it's pretty clear that the systems are on equal footing these days, and that the 360 does not have "a huge edge in sales." They certainly got out to an early lead, back in the day, but that advantage has disappeared.
Aaaaaaand Microsoft does a 180. No more phone-home, used game restrictions, etc.
