although my N64 is hanging about somewhere...

In the past? Other PCs (I think I'm on my 6th), 48k Spectrum (this was the first computer I owned), 128k Spectrum, NES, Gameboy (as in the original), SuperNES, N64. That's it, I gave up on consoles after the N64 and haven't looked back.

The only stuff I play now is EVE Online and the occasional nostalgic game of x-com, MoO II and similar.

Having said that my kids own plenty of consoles between them!
