Always visit a shrine/church to pray after fighting Vampires. Always. Good luck on the long quest to get rid of it.

The internet says that it doesn't start until 72 hours later or so, and the first symptoms are not the real disease yet. And I pretty much went right to Bravil after the quest, so those 3 days can't possibly be over. Whaaa!

So if I find a save game from right after the quest, before I slept, and drink a cure disease potion I should be fine, right?

If that was the first time that you came up against Vampires, then you should get 72 in game hours before sleeping will bring the first change. If you find a save game, you should be able to prevent it from happening. I would recommend fast traveling to an altar somewhere and clicking on it. Cure disease doesn't always work. The little chapel at Weynon Priory is always a good choice.
