...they're supposedly waiting for Nintendo's approval of some of the final content. (game manuals, etc) Honestly, I don't even care about NG and would prefer to have any kind of Cave Story news.
The reason why I'm waiting for the WiiWare version is twofold:
1) I'd rather play a platformer on a TV while sitting on a couch
2) It's a product whose indy devs deserves some cash, so they can have my ~$10
I've had 1500 Wii Points sitting idle since Christmas, and Cave Story's all I really care to use them on.

Ok, I didn't know what was holding them back. And your reasons for getting the wiiware version are quite same as mine for getting it, even though I have it on PC and have played it throught countless times.
