He wasted so much time building up to that and it was so unneeded. I like her character at first but by the end like so many characters in the book I was tired of him constantly reinforcing her traits. The idea that after all the time telling us how wise and what master politicians the White Tower was and then the get tricked into making a girl who wasn't old enough to drink the most powerful women in the world? A person kings come to when they are summoned? Sorry but the book was starting to feel like some silly YA book where young 20 some things really do know as much as they think they do.

It was almost as bad as making Kirk a captain od the Starfleet flagship after he was expelled for cheating the and act of mutiny to take over the. Fantasy or Scfi is no reason to have such stupid plot lines.
