There were so many stories that he could have written in that universe that we will never get. I was sad when I heard that he lost the fight with his illness. I still enjoy the books and am actually re-reading The Dragon Reborn right now.

I remember the shock on wotmania. And maybe even some anger. Nobody knew he was on the verge of death. His blog posts about his battle with amyloidosis were so upbeat. Then one day I come to wotmania and there's a black banner...
