We all do stupid things if we're not paying attention, but if you think twice, change your reaction, you're probably not going to hell. 

Where my initial, instinctive reaction is racist or discriminatory in some other way, but then my conscious thinking steps in and mentally scolds the subconscious, hopefully in time to avoid actually doing or saying anything too bad.
No doubt it would be better to just not have that instinctive reaction in the first place, but eh, still better than just running with it.
