On my honeymoon, my wife and I were in Cairns and very hungry. We stopped at a pizza place to try to fashion a meatlover's type pizza. They had something on the menu that looked like what we wanted, but it came with barbecue sauce instead of marinara or some other Italian-spiced tomato sauce. We asked the guy for 'tomato sauce' instead of BBQ sauce.

We got a pizza with ketchup all over it. (and BBQ was still under it all!)




*Ask around or go back to the thread about New York Style pizza. I also know nothing about pizza.


To be fair, going to Cairns for pizza is like going to a small city in Alabama. You will probably get substandard pizza.


But we still had yo eat.
