Yes. It was. It's been common knowledge for years that he is gay. Family Guy made a joke about it over a decade ago. So then his timing, as Greg said, makes it obvious he is deflecting. Plus I'm skeptical he was so drunk he has no memory of picking up and carrying a 14 year old to bed.
