Civil War was so boring. The airport fight scene went on for ten hours and no one got hurt. Yeah sure, War Machine did right at the very end when I was snoring. Sort of reminded me of Sucker Punch, were the girl gets smashed by a huge robot samurai, flies into a wall at 200 MPH and gets up without a scratch, just dusting off. And you go, "Oh, so that's the way it's going to be." No stakes make for boring action, no matter how flashy.
To be fair, Ragnarok also sort of suffered from boring CGI action crapfest but not as nearly as tedious.
That's why I liked Logan and Fury Road. The hero actually bleeds, like good ole Schwarzenegger in the Running Man.
Ultron suffered from a very bland villain.
I am having a hard time believing one thing with the Thor movies.
