That is pretty much the most repellent group of children I have ever seen on screen. Only the black kid looks normal (although 11 might look normal with hair). I thought the one who was also in It was some sort of birth defect. I honestly thought that the point of that show was subverting any expectations one might have from looking at the cast. For example, absolutely everything else I have seen the sheriff in, he plays a creep or a coward or a traitor, so I spent most of the first season waiting for him to reveal his weakness or evil side.
But I also didn't get the whole fuss about Barb either.
