Thanks for listening to my venting. I actually do not need more "alone time", but rather time to spend with other adults, preferably someone I can talk to about stuff like this (or get distracted by).

But right now, I think I need to be distracted and think of something else, so that I can go to sleep. I would listen to pods but my favourite app with downloaded episodes is broken since an update. Do please, continue the word association game now

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3

So the Old Testatment is broken up in sections Law (aka the 5 books of the Torah) followed by History followed by the Sapiential Books, followed by Prophets / Prophecy (Major and Minor)

The Sapiental Books are the 7 books of wisdom (though some traditions namely the Protestants only have 5 or 6 books). Note some people rephrase these 7 books as the books of wisdom, poetry, and praise.

Job,

Psalms,

Proverbs,

Ecclesiastes,

The Book of Wisdom,

The Song of Songs (also known as Song of Solomon), and

Sirach (Ecclesiasticus).

Ecclesiastes deals with is the meaning of life and thus how to live a good life. You will find numerous people quoting Ecclesiastes both religious and non religious for there is lots of good stuff in it, people like Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln (arguably the most important president of the US, the one involved with saving the union during the civil war), the current pope, Ernest Hemingway, even the commies with Leo Tolstoy (teasing ) , etc.

Quotes Dr. Strange again. "Time is relative",

The importance of time is not the time itself but instead it gives us the opportunity to create bonds, and for bonds to be severed, and for things to change. Not related to you, but something else that happened today reminded me of the butterfly in Zhuangzi.

https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Zhuangzi

We have to remember that each moment is important for it allows us to change, and we are the instrument of our own change, but we also take in and grow by the interactions with others.

(resists the urge to quote proverbs from the Luxor Temple in Egypt)

So I understand why you were in pain, you struggled, and you almost became bitter for someone Unilaterally decided what is appropriate what for you to do with your life without consulting you first.

I get it...Trust me when this shit happens to me...I kind of act a little differently than this me giving advice right now... I am a little more unhinged, either I have to get away from that person, or I have to do something productive and channel my frustration into something to prevent me from doing something worse such as flipping someone off or going a little off hand with my word choice. Why do I do this when it happens to me...well it is personal and it hurts, and sometimes I am too sensitive to the pain and the betrayal. I am thinking of a scene from Newsroom, Season 1 Episode 6 and this episode is known as Bullies and it involves the Blond Guy from Dumb and Dumber finally having a shitty week that he finally goes to a psych and talk things out. Well sometimes I am that guy and I wish I can link you the last few minutes of that episode for sometimes I am that blond prick who is supposed to be the hero but he really is not.

But right now, I think I need to be distracted and think of something else, so that I can go to sleep. I would listen to pods but my favourite app with downloaded episodes is broken since an update. Do please, continue the word association game now
