Both sides believe they have the valid claim to the land and that won't change. The more Palestine fights the more the lose and that won't change. Palestine cannot defeat Israel and the US will not allow anyone else to do it for them. Palestine has never been willing to accept a reasonable resolution to this and there is no reason to believe they are any closer to acting like grownups than they were in 1948. We have reached the point were the world needs to stop blaming Israel while tolerating terrorism from Palestine and accept that Israel has no partner in peace.

Supporting Palestine is supporting never ending war. The capital of Israel is Jerusalem and it is none productive to pretend otherwise. Israel should no be expected to tolerate never ending attacks on their population and needs to just start taking more land when they are attacked until Palestine screams uncle or trying to fight from Syria. The UN will wail and thrash about but at least the issue can finally be resolved.
